The first visit has proved very popular and was oversubscribed within 1 hour!! The Imam is really pleased with the amount of interest and Marie is discussing further dates with him.
All members who register an interest will be added to a waiting list and places will be offered in order of registration.

We are pleased to announce a visit to the Baitul Futuh Mosque
Our host will be Imam Farukh Ahmed Arshad
We can take 20 members for a visit to this iconic local landmark.
There will be a tour lasting between 60-90 minutes and refreshments.
Important information:
All Visitors are requested to dress modestly.
Shoes must be removed before entering the main prayer halls. (This will be indicated by the tour guide)
Photography is allowed at designated areas (Please ask tour guide for more information)
There will be a small charge of £5 per person which is a donation to the mosque.
Members will need to make their own way to the mosque. There is a bus stop opposite the mosque. Any members wishing to travel by car and use the car park facilities at the mosque will need to supply their registration number for us to lodge with the mosque.
As numbers are very limited for this trip, we are asking members firstly to register their interest and we will notify the first 20 that they have a confirmed place and to make their payment to the usual u3a account.
If this visit is oversubscribed, we will request a further visit later in the year for any members on the waiting list.
