Beer Tasting

The U3A Beer Tasting Group, we meet on the 2nd Thursday monthly at 7pm in a venue in Carshalton. We taste and assess 6 small glasses of very varied beers per evening; space allows for a larger group than would be usual for U3A to attend so it’s very convivial.   We expect to have space for additional people. Be assured you do not have to drink the full quantity of beer available, but it is of high standard so driving to the venue may not be wise. We have undertaken occasional visits to beer festivals and other local events as a group. During lockdown, we bought supplies for the group directly to allow us to have online tastings by zoom on a fortnightly basis, it’s possible these may continue occasionally. We are also discussing less structured social events to be suggested and arranged by group members for the 4th Thursday monthly.
