how cameo club connections work
The idea of the Cameo club is for members to let us know if there is a particular event that they want to attend or a place they want to visit but would rather not go alone. We will compile a list of things members would like to do and hopefully match them up with other members who fancy a trip out.
Maybe you want to see something in London but don’t like travelling alone then join up with a friend in the u3a and have a fun day out with company.
Have you signed up for a ticket only Theatre trips but would like to meet up with other members before the show, either to travel to the venue or to meet at the theatre before you go in.
We know that some members don’t like coach travel but may be prepared to car share and contribute to the petrol cost and go with friends.
The committee will NOT be the organisers, we will put members in touch with each other via email or similar (members will be asked to give their permission to share their email address or contact details with another interested member before any link will be made)
