Our U3A has decided to support the rebuilding of Glyn Hall in Ewell Village. Glyn Hall is a charity with similar objects to our own, which are the education and welfare of those older members of the community. The hall was bequeathed to the Ewell village community by Margaret Henrietta Glyn.
Margaret was the last of the Glyn’s, they lived, influenced, and supported the village community for 400 years. The Legacy was a gift to the community and, as such we feel we should be doing all we can to support this project so that Glyn Hall can continue to support the community for many generations to come.
