Formed in 2017, this discussion group meets every other Monday at 9:15am for a 9:30am start, ending no later than 12.
We hope to probe some of today’s most contentious topics in a pleasant, non-confrontational way.
The programme for discussion will be agreed in advance, so that group members have time to prepare, if they so wish.
Radio podcasts will be circulated in advance if available, for those who would find this helpful.
The group will operate to the traditional U3A format – members will be encouraged to offer their homes for meetings, provide refreshments at the break, contribute ideas for discussion, etc.
