Russian Studies

This is a discussion group meeting on the third Tuesday of the month.

Russia, cuddly teddy bear or ferocious grizzly bear?

Whether you vote teddy or grizzly, no-one can deny that Russia is a fascinating country and culture – acting as the bridge between west and east.

As the largest country in the world, covering 11 time zones and 120 ethnic groups, its history, culture, language, cuisine, politics, religion, are complex and exciting to explore.

If you enjoy researching topics and then sharing your learnings with others, then we are the group for you!

Recently we have covered film, architecture, and rivers. Our next topic is cuisine in which we will be researching, preparing and sharing some Russian fayre.
